VDA: Production And Market In July 2025
In July, domestic passenger car production reached a volume of 347,100 units. This was 9% more than in the same month last year. After the first seven months of the year, 2.5mn passenger cars were manufactured in Germany (+5%). Passenger Vehicle sales again crossed the 1 million mark in Q1 of 2025-26 (1.01 million units), it is the 2nd time in a row in Q1 in last 2 years. Due to lower sales in the later part of the quarter, sales in Q1 were lower by (-)1.4% as compared to Q1 of 2024-25.
