What is ANFAC?

Anfac is an interest group whose mission is to promote the proper development of the automotive sector, contributing to the general interests of the country.

Anfac researches, analyses and disseminates a better understanding of the technical, economic and social aspects of the sector in order to promote its harmonious progress, for the benefit of all economic agents, based on its experience and technical knowledge.

In carrying out its functions, Anfac represents the common interests of manufacturers of vehicles and vehicle derivatives, their engines and components, and their brands. In this way, Anfac assumes the collective representation and management of the interests of its members before the authorities and all kinds of public and private entities and institutions.

History of ANFAC

It was founded in 1976, replacing the National Association of Manufacturers of Cars, Trucks, Tractors and their Engines, which had been established in 1966.

From its inception, it was established with the aim of promoting the proper development of the automotive sector in Spain and collaborating in the defense of its specific interests, promoting collaboration between member manufacturers in technical, economic, social, financial and any other areas deemed necessary for the harmonious progress of the sector. To this end, it represents and collectively manages its members before the government and all kinds of public and private entities and institutions.

In its early days, the National Association was made up of the presidents and representatives of 13 brands: Cafa, Citroën, Chrysler Spain, Enasa, Fasa-Renault, Ford Spain, John Deere Ibérica, Jorsa, Metalúrgica de Santa Ana, Mevosa, Motor Ibérica, SEAT and Seida. It currently has 62 member brands, 19 of which manufacture in Spain and the rest are importers.

Mission

Promote the proper development of the automotive sector, contributing to the general interests of the country.

Culture and Values

At ANFAC, we base all our actions on a threefold vision: integrity, transparency and equal access, understood as the opportunity we offer without reservation to the various stakeholders to collaborate in the proper development of the sector.
