The Truck and Engine Manufacturers Association, EMA, represents manufacturers of internal combustion engines, on-highway medium- and heavy-duty vehicles, trucks and related technologies in the United States and internationally. EMA works with governments, industry and stakeholders to support cleaner air, lower emissions and safer highways.

EMA’s role is to ensure that environmental and safety regulations are technologically feasible, cost-effective and capable of delivering real public and environmental benefits. Its work covers regulatory policy, emissions standards, vehicle technology, safety and innovation.
