IVIA

The Israel Vehicle Importers Association (I-VIA) is the representative body of Israel’s direct importers of passenger cars, commercial vehicles, trucks, and buses, and is a member of OICA and CLEPA.

At the national level, the Association represents its members before Israeli authorities and the Knesset on key legislative, regulatory, and taxation matters, and promotes high standards of service, safety, environmental responsibility, and professional excellence across the automotive sector.

At the international level, I-VIA is at the forefront of facilitating the transformation toward sustainable and innovative transportation solutions, actively collaborating with global stakeholders. These partnerships enable the Association to integrate international automotive standards with Israel’s unique innovation ecosystem, creating a two-way channel for knowledge exchange and technological advancement.

Beyond representing importers, I-VIA plays a pivotal role in showcasing Israeli smart mobility technologies on the global stage and works closely with international manufacturers, suppliers, and technology innovators to identify opportunities in electrification, autonomous mobility, and software-defined vehicles. Through these initiatives, I-VIA advances the adoption of cutting-edge technologies while addressing broader societal goals such as cybersecurity in connected vehicles, improved road safety, reduced environmental impact, and active community engagement.

In addition, I-VIA regularly publishes reports and reviews, including monthly vehicle licensing data, offering authoritative information for policymakers, industry leaders, and the international automotive community.
