New Registrations in Germany: Electric Cars Reach Another Record Market Share
Germany’s October registrations rose 1.7%, while BEV sales surged 79.5% to nearly 40% market share. Chinese brands gained strongly, but incentives and high fuel prices drove much of the growth, raising concerns that demand could weaken if subsidies end.

UK BEV registrations reach annual high with 32 per cent market share

EU lawmakers vote to further ease CO2 emissions targets, offering lifeline to automakers
A European Parliament committee backed an 87.5% CO₂ reduction for cars by 2035, with further flexibility through green steel, fuels and EV super-credits. The proposal could preserve a significant role for plug-in hybrids and extended-range vehicles after 2035.

ASEAN auto sales rose 13% in Q3 on EV and hybrid demand in key markets
ASEAN’s five major markets grew 13% in Q3, led by EVs and hybrids. Chinese brands gained through affordable BEVs, while Japanese automakers retained strength in hybrids and service networks. Singapore showed the region’s highest electrification, with BEVs at
63% of registrations.
