EV demand powers Europe car market in May, Chinese rivals expand share
Europe’s auto market grew 3.6% in May, driven by BEVs, PHEVs and hybrids, which represented over two-thirds of registrations. Petrol and diesel fell, established European groups declined, while Chinese brands and Tesla gained sharply.
